Roadtrip Part I

Well, we did it. We drove across the entire country and have finally landed in San Francisco. I’ll admit, I was hesitant about being stuck in the car for 12 hour days, but it ended up being an amazing experience. It’s so easy to forget how vast and amazing the rest of the country is when you spend your life in just a few cities.

Below are some photos from the first few days of our trip. The rest are soon to follow!

The Midwest is full of cornfields and strange sightings.

The landscape of Minnesota was nothing to write home about, but the sky was incredible.

After two days of driving through cornfields and endless miles of flat grassland, we were starting to lose our minds. In our carefully laid out schedule, there was no plan to visit Sioux Falls, but we made a last-minute decision to pull off the highway when we saw the signs for it. Surprisingly, it ended up being one of the most amazing parts of the trip. We pulled up just as the sun was setting, and the effect was breathtaking.
